Postdoctoral Fellowship | RNA Splicing Dysregulation and Oncogenesis in Blood Malignancies

Position Summary and Key Responsibilities:

The Beckman Research Institute of City of Hope Department of Systems Biology is seekingÃtalented and motivated Postdoctoral Fellows to lead the project for understanding RNA splicing dysregulation and oncogenesis in blood malignancies. Candidates with strong background in RNA splicing, cancer biology, animal model, and bioinformatics are encouraged to apply.

Minimum Education and Skills Required for Consideration:

  • A Ph.D. degree in molecular biology, cancer biology, or a related discipline is required
  • Understanding fundamental mechanism of RNA splicing is required
  • Knowledge in genomics and transcriptome analysis is preferred
  • Familiar with genetic murine models is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, independent and creative
