Reporting to the Clinical Trials Activation Administrator, the Clinical Trials Activation Analyst (CTAA) performs a variety of professional and administrative duties and analysis functions in support of the clinical trial activation and management process. The CTAA develops and maintains strong working relationships with multi-disciplinary staff across Research Operations departments, including Regulatory Support Services, Clinical Trials Support Services, Clinical Trials Office and Investigational Drug Services. This position will be responsible for the maintenance of the Clinical Trial Activation Tracker, and will serve as a key contact for all Research Operations staff involved in new study start-up. The Administrative Analyst will partner with the Clinical Trials Activation Administrator to analyze, design and implement innovative and comprehensive programs that facilitate timely and efficient study start-up and support City of Hope’s study activation timeline goals. The role requires partnering and collaborating across several departments to support a systems approach to a process with multiple, diverse stakeholders. Functions independently and proficiently with minimal oversight. This position will also support meetings and events related to sponsored research at City of Hope. These responsibilities include event organization and logistics, data analysis and reporting, preparation of meeting materials, and other related activities.

Position Qualifications:

Minimum Education: Bacherlor's Degree

Minimum Experience:

2-3 years related experience in business administration and/or administrative analysis (budgets, grant accounting, facility or personnel support).

Experience in clinical research may be considered in lieu of business administration experience

Preferred Experience:

Experience in academic or research environment preferred.
